The Imaging Supplies Coalition for International Intellectual Property Protection (ISC) announced that it had elected a new Chairman of the Board and three new officers at their annual meeting held June 11, 2007. Tom Walter, Director - Aftermarket Sales, Marketing & Operations for Toshiba America Business Solutions Inc., was named Chairman of the Board. He succeeds Matthew Hahn, Director of Marketing – Supplies/Accessories, Brother International Corp. Commenting on the election, Allen Westerfield, President of the Coalition said, "The Members and Board of Directors want to thank Matthew and Brother for their proactive involvement and support of the ISC. Our new Chairman, Tom Walter, brings a wealth of industry knowledge and experience to the Chair and we look forward to continuing to build on our programs and initiatives under his leadership."
Dan Kojima, Manager of Legal Administration, Canon USA, Inc., was elected Chair-Elect. Andrew Gardner, World Wide Brand Protection Manager at Lexmark International was elected Treasurer and Lisa Boblenz, Senior Product Manager, Supplies for Oki Data Americas was elected Secretary. Westerfield went on to say; "Each of these officers has broad experience in the imaging supplies industry and are their companies' leaders in developing Intellectual Property Rights protection strategies and protecting their companies' brand from illegal activity."
